Day 10: lost in progress

Today, I got lost as I was dancing.  That lost where you forget about everything else around you and you’re just so focused in the moment.  It’s deep.

I want more of that feeling.  I think for people who dance everyday, that’s one of their motivators.

So, for the past ten days, I’ve been working on the most basic b-boy moves.

Crossover toprock.

Six-step.

Indian step toprock.

Three-step.

And what I’ve dubbed the “behind the knee drop from toprock into six-step.”

When I started, I couldn’t do any of these, which means I’m excited about my progress so far.

And since it’s day ten, that means I’ll be releasing a video soon of me doing each of these moves so you can see where I’m at.

Remember, I’m a beginner, and need/want as much direction as possible from the better dancers out there.  With that said, I’m looking forward to comments.

By the way, what moves should I focus on next?

Tip of the day: Keep track of your progress, through text or video, it’s encouraging to see how you’ve improved.
